O-KU SUSHI

O-Ku isn’t just sushi. It’s a full-on vibe. The second you walk in, the space feels modern and moody, with just the right amount of glow. It gives upscale energy while still keeping the focus on the food. Whether you’re going big for dinner or popping in for a little treat-yourself moment, every bite brings the flavor.

Let’s talk about my favorite roll on the menu — the Black Magic. This one looks dramatic with its deep black squid ink rice and tastes just as bold. It’s packed with fried lobster, crispy shallots, spicy aioli, and chives. Rich, savory, and totally unforgettable. Every texture hits just right, and the presentation is stunning.

Next up is the Oceanside. Inside is spicy tuna and tempura shrimp, and it’s topped with seared salmon, togarashi, cilantro aioli, and green onion. There’s a little heat, a little smokiness, and so much flavor in each bite. It’s the kind of roll that keeps you going back for more.

If you’re in the mood for something creamy and crispy, the Firecracker roll is a must. It’s got spicy salmon, avocado, asparagus, and a surprise ingredient — goat cheese. I know, but trust me. The goat cheese adds the perfect tang and richness, and the whole thing is fried until golden and delicious.

Then there’s the Blazing Saddles. It’s a heavier roll made with seared Certified Angus Beef, tempura shrimp, avocado, cilantro aioli, eel sauce, and crispy onions. It’s bold, comforting, and full of flavor. If you want something a little indulgent, this is it.

Not in the sushi mood? Try the Koji Salmon. It’s marinated with garlic, ginger, and lemongrass and comes with broccolini and sautéed shiitake mushrooms. Clean, flavorful, and super satisfying without being too heavy.

And please don’t skip dessert. We had the Sata Andagi, which are Okinawan-style ube donut holes covered in sesame peanut sugar and drizzled with miso caramel. They were soft, sweet, slightly nutty, and honestly addictive.

The vibe here is perfect for a date night, girls’ night, or just when you want to spoil yourself with some good sushi and even better ambiance. This spot is definitely worth checking out.
